Marvell Technology [MRVL]
As of 2026-07-29. CONFIRMED = stated by the company or in a filing. ESTIMATED = inferred from Marvell's own filing history, with the inference stated. Nothing here is invented.
Marvell's fiscal year ends on the Saturday closest to 31 January. FY2027 ends 2027-01-30.
| Date | Event | Status | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| ~2026-08-01 | Q2 FY2027 fiscal quarter end | ESTIMATED (13-week convention from 2026-05-02) | The quarter against which the $2.700bn ±5% guide is measured. |
| ~2026-08-27 (±5d) | Q2 FY2027 results and Q3 guide | ESTIMATED | Marvell reported Q2 on 2025-08-28 and 2024-08-29 — the last Thursday of August. Watch: data-centre sequential growth (was +11% in Q1 FY27 after three quarters at +2% to +5% — two more prints above +9% establishes the re-acceleration), Distributor A's share (45% and rising), and whether the guided acceleration through FY2027 holds. |
| ~2026-08-29 (±5d) | Q2 FY2027 Form 10-Q | ESTIMATED | Filed 1–2 days after results in each of the last four quarters. The 10-Q carries the significant-customer table and the AR-concentration sentence; the press release does not. This is the higher-information document. |
| ~2026-12-02 (±7d) | Q3 FY2027 results | ESTIMATED | Reported 2025-12-02 and 2024-12-03. |
| ~2027-03-04 (±7d) | Q4 and FY2027 results | ESTIMATED | Reported 2026-03-05 and 2025-03-05. |
| ~2027-03-10 (±7d) | FY2027 Form 10-K | ESTIMATED | Filed 2026-03-11 and 2025-03-12. Full-year significant-customer and AR-concentration disclosure. |
| 2026-03-31 | NVIDIA Series A Convertible Preferred issued — already occurred | CONFIRMED — 10-Q Note 10 | $2.0bn for 2.0m preferred shares, conversion ~$91.84, max 21,778,000 common. None converted as of 2026-05-02. Conversion is at the holder's option, subject to Hart-Scott-Rodino waiting-period expiry where applicable. |
| 2025-08-14 | Automotive ethernet sale to Infineon completed — already occurred | CONFIRMED — 10-K | $2.5bn cash, $1.8bn pre-tax gain booked in Q3 FY2026. Lapping this in Q3 FY2027 removes the divestiture drag from reported YoY comparisons. |
| ~2026-11-01 | Q3 FY2027 quarter end — the divestiture anniversary laps | ESTIMATED | From Q3 FY2027 onward, reported total-revenue YoY is no longer depressed by the removal of automotive ethernet from the base. A mechanical improvement in the headline growth rate that is not a demand improvement. Flagged so it is not misread. |
| 2027-01-15 | Recommended option expiry (if any position taken) | — | 171 days; brackets two earnings prints. |
Three disclosed lines carry the thesis. All three appear in the 10-Q, not the press release.
1. Distributor A's share of net revenue.
| Period | Distributor A | Direct Customer A | Combined |
|---|---|---|---|
| FY2024 | 24% | <10% | — |
| FY2025 | 34% | 13% | 47% |
| FY2026 | 37% | 14% | 51% |
| Q1 FY2026 | 36% | 16% | 52% |
| Q1 FY2027 | 45% | 16% | 61% |
2. Gross accounts-receivable concentration.
| Date | Concentration |
|---|---|
| 2025-02-01 | four customers = 72% |
| 2025-05-03 | five customers = 72% |
| 2026-01-31 | four customers = 73% |
| 2026-05-02 | three customers = 75% |
3. Data-centre sequential growth. +25%, +24%, +5%, +3%, +2%, +9%, +11%. The re-acceleration the FY2027 guide depends on is two quarters old.
Per criteria.md, Catalyst Criteria is MEASURED and blocks nothing.

No committed order book exists to calendar against. Marvell discloses no remaining-performance-obligation
figure and DeferredRevenueCurrent was $63.7m at 2026-05-02 — 0.7% of TTM revenue. The 10-K describes the
ordering model: Marvell places "firm orders with our suppliers up to 26 weeks prior to the anticipated
delivery to our customer and may make further supply commitments up to 52 weeks to secure capacity." The
commitments run from Marvell to its foundries, not from its customers to Marvell. There is therefore nothing
of Broadcom's kind ($164.6bn firmly committed, 30% inside 12 months) to schedule here.
From the FY2026 10-K and Q1 FY2027 10-Q:
No dated regulatory proceeding is on file. Unlike AMD, Marvell discloses no China-specific product revenue at risk and no export-licence charge.
